Lounging by the pool at Bohol Beach Club
A lazy day today with no plans before the evening. So although we were awake and up quite early, we took our time over breakfast. Soon after that, as we were preparing to go for a stroll on the beach, it started to rain. We didn’t want to stay in our room so took shelter under one of the sunshades by the pool. When it stopped raining and turned brighter I went down to the beach for a few photos.

After another shower we took a longer walk on the beach, wading in the shallow water. We could see preparations in one area of the grounds for a wedding that was to take place later, and the bride was posing for some pre-wedding photos.

We had a light lunch (salads and mango juice) at the bar by the pool then spent a lazy afternoon alternating dips in the pool with relaxation on the loungers. I used part of the time to edit some shots of the tarsiers and upload them to my WordPress blog.

In the evening we took a tri-cab to Alona Beach, about 15 minutes away, to meet up with fellow bloggers and friends, Phil and Michaela. By an amazing coincidence they were also travelling in the Philippines at the same time as we were, and even more amazingly their stay in Bohol coincided with ours. We enjoyed catching up over a few beers and a very good dinner at a beach cafe.
