At Miniloc Island Resort
Our last full day in the Philippines and we spent it in a very similar vein to yesterday. Time by and in the pool was punctuated with meals, strolls on the little beach (armed with camera of course) and another snorkelling session when the fish were being fed. This time I stayed in longer and in addition to the turtle saw many different fishes. I swam to where the reef drops off and spotted a bright blue sea star and some anemones.

And while by the pool we spotted a striking bird in a palm tree which I later identified as a Green Imperial Pigeon.

On one of my beach strolls I spotted some beautiful large shells, clearly left under one of the palms by hotel staff. I had fun capturing their interesting shapes as well as the seaweed washed up on the sand.

Dinner was a buffet again and afterwards we strolled out along the jetty and joined a small group being introduced to the stars and planets above us by an expert member of staff. He had a large telescope set up through which we could look at Mars and also the moon. He used my phone to take a photo of the latter for me.
